We don’t have quails around here so I found one online that I had never seen before. He’s called a Gambel’s Quail and he was on an Arizona gardener’s site, who gave me permission to use her photo as reference – Thanks, TJ!:

What I love the most about him is that he appears to be in management – or holds some sort of office in the quail community. He wears black pants and a light blue shirt with a white belt and a fancy plumed hat!
